Andrew Armes, VP Talent Management and HR Strategy, Invensys  
 
Before joining Invensys at the start of 2007 as vice president for talent management and HR strategy, Andrew held the position of head of talent and resourcing at AstraZeneca UK. Prior to this he held a mixture of senior generalist and specialist HR positions at several FTSE 100 companies. Andrew holds a BSc in Psychology from Warwick University and a Masters in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick Business School. A regular commentator in the press and speaker at related conferences, he has been voted in the top 100 most influential HR professionals by HR magazine in 2006 and 2007. A triple RAD award winner for employment branding, he is passionate about helping individuals, teams and organisations unlock their full potential.
 
 
Lesley Gordon, Internal Communications Manager, E.ON UK
 
Lesley is internal communications manager at E.ON UK, the UK's largest integrated power and gas company, employing over 16,000 people. Her key focus is to drive communications to be innovative, two-way and relevant to the internal audience to support effective colleague engagement and encourage pride in the company brand. Lesley has over 12 years’ experience in corporate and internal communications management, and formerly worked for engineering and technology company ABB in various communications management roles. During this time, Lesley successfully developed and led the employee communications for a number of large change, re-organisation and acquisition programmes.
 
 
Colette Hill, Chief Executive, CHA
 
Colette set up CHA in 1993 to create a centre of excellence in the communication of often complex employment issues. CHA specialises in change consultancy and employee communication as well as external communications and media relations.
 
Its clients include Tesco, AstraZeneca, Barclaycard, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Shell, for which it runs campaigns to build their reputations as great places to work. A regular speaker on communication for engagement, Colette Hill is the founder and chair of the HR Insight Panel and sits on Osney Media’s editorial panel. She is a Fellow of the RSA.
 
 
Richard Mosley, Managing Director, People in Business
 
Richard has been involved in brand strategy development and implementation for nearly twenty years, and is now joint owner of People in Business, the world’s leading employer brand consultancy where he has recently led development projects for BAA, Coca-Cola, Fujitsu, the Guardian, Lloyds of London, RBS and Standard Life. Richard’s latest book, The Employer Brand, bringing the best of brand management to people at work, co-authored with Simon Barrow, was published in October 2005.
 
 
Ivan Newman, Global Property Project Manager: Communications and Ways of Working, Reuters
 
Ivan joined Reuters in 1987. Prior to his current role, Newman was head of internal services, UK, where he played a key part in delivering the Reuters Brand through real estate. Prior to this, he was head of talent acquisition, responsible for leading Reuters into online recruiting. He has been involved with promoting Reuters’ external and internal brand since 1997. He read Physics and Computing at the University of Kent and gained an MBA from the International Management Centres. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), European Engineer (Eur Ing) and Chartered IT professional (CITP). A keen and competitive triathlete he has represented Great Britain four times at European and World Championships. He is married with two daughters.
 
 
Richard Roberts, Head of Resourcing and Employee Engagement, Virgin Mobile
 
Richard Roberts joined Virgin Mobile as a HR manager pre launch in September 1999 to establish the company’s HR function. In April 2005 he became head of resourcing and employee engagement. More recently he has been promoted to head up the whole of the people team at Virgin Mobile. Richard has over twenty years’ experience in HR.
